Break the script into sections/scenes and work on it one section at a time. It is less difficult in sections. With both you and your child looking at the page, read through a scene. Then read it a second time and don't let them look at the page. Help cue them until they are able to do it all by themselves. Remember, they need to memorize the story as well, so read ALL the lines, not just the ones before their lines.
